Took the PowerBook into Apple Store to an “Apple Genius”… they say the dent and fractured AirPort is a “Tier 3” which gets us an estimated $900 repair bill.
That is a flat rate for anything involving replacing the case, and they don’t let you opt out of a case repair. Since the new iBook with comparable capabilities is only a little more than that, I think we’re gonna go ahead and not do that.
