Eivor Palsdottir
I found this album in the 50 cent bin at Rasputin’s.
Initally I thought it was Icelandic, because all the text was using the Icelandic alphabet, so in accordance with my Icelandic Culture Saturation Plan, I bought it. It’s kind of coffeehouse jazz/acoustic folk, and is pretty good. After reading some reviews (check the one at Amazon) I learned a few things- Apparently she is singing in “Faroese.” I have no idea what that even is!B00005AMKZ
