My friend Josh and I joke about serving candied baby seal noses- the same cute little baby seals you see being clubbed to death in the anti-fur advertisments. You throw the rest of the baby seal away, because “the nose is the best part!”

Here’s a real news posting from the Associated Press:

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands – Around 2,000 baboon noses were found packed in an abandoned suitcase at Amsterdam airport when they started to stink, officials said Wednesday.
“We assume these animals were killed, and we have to prevent something like this from happening again,” spokesman Louis Steens said. He said the noses had been destroyed.

I spent most of my weekend (20+ hours) learning about gmax and rudimentary 3D modelling… after spending another 10 hours working on a 3D model and saving it, I found my gmax file was totally corrupted- loading it in would instantly crash gmax application. This morning I found out that it is due to the recent Microsoft Update, and no I can’t get my work back. What a bunch of pigfuckers.
