All these elderly men (late 60s at least) were milling about the entrance&#8230;<\/p>\n<p \/>\n<blockquote>\n<div CLASS=\"quote\">\n<p CLASS=\"quote\">OLD MAN #1:  Huh.  It&#8217;s closed!<\/p>\n<p CLASS=\"quote\">BRAIN: yes.  For another hour still.<\/p>\n<p CLASS=\"quote\">OM1: Well heck.  Do you have a key?<\/p>\n<p CLASS=\"quote\">BRAIN: sorry, I do not.<\/p>\n<p CLASS=\"quote\">OLD MAN #2: Henry!<\/p>\n<p CLASS=\"quote\">OM1: Hello Fred.<\/p>\n<p CLASS=\"quote\">OM2: Is it closed?<\/p>\n<p CLASS=\"quote\">OM1: Yep.  Do you have a key?<\/p>\n<p CLASS=\"quote\">OM2:  Nope.  How do we get in?  It&#8217;s closed!<\/p>\n<p CLASS=\"quote\">OM1:  How are we going to have our meeting?<\/p>\n<p CLASS=\"quote\">OLD MAN #3: Henry!  Fred!<\/p>\n<p CLASS=\"quote\">OM1: Good morning Frank!<\/p>\n<p CLASS=\"quote\">OM2: Frank.<\/p>\n<p CLASS=\"quote\">OM3: Are we locked out?<\/p>\n<p CLASS=\"quote\">OM2: Yep.  We don&#8217;t have a key.  Do you have a key?<\/p>\n<p CLASS=\"quote\">OM3: No!  Well how are we going to have our meeting?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>It&#8217;s really amazing how long a few people can talk without introducing any new information to the conversation.<\/p>\n<p \/>\nI was on my way somewhere, so I didn&#8217;t stick around to watch the drama unfold&#8230; as I turned the corner in my car, I saw a sign on the next building, about fifty yards from the library:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>SENIOR MEETING CENTER<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A while ago I stopped off at the library to drop a book in the return slot.
