Doesn&#8217;t he look like Stalin?  Maybe the unholy love-child of Stalin and Bob Dobbs.<\/p>\n<p \/>\nBe sure to play the games on the site- there is a typing game and a crazy English game.  It sort of reminds me of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zeromachine.com\/archives\/2003\/07\/09\/09.53.43\/\">Wario Ware<\/a>.<br \/>\n  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/archives\/images\/2003\/10\/23\/23.50.41\/boss-smaller.jpg\" width=250 height=220 align=left \/><br \/>\nTurns out we were not the only ones to think BOSS looks like Stalin- there is a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.8bitjoystick.com\/archives\/jake_review_boss_coffee_cafe_au_lait.php\">review on 8 bit joystick<\/a> which compares him to Stalin as well!<\/p>\n<p \/>\n<p>Now we refer to the various flavors by what Stalin is doing in the picture on the can- &#8220;Stalin Driving&#8221;, &#8220;Stalin on the Phone&#8221;, &#8220;Stalin with Dog&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p \/>\n<p>Of course I made everyone watch the Ayumi Hamasaki BOSS commercial, where she sings &#8220;LOVE&#8221; with half the lyrics replaced with &#8220;BOSS.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p \/>\n<p>A friend in Tokyo (a white guy) asked his coworkers about BOSS- they said BOSS reminds them of MacArthur, who is not a negative figure.  <\/p>\n<p \/>\nGo  figure!<\/p>\n<p \/>\n<p><i>Pictured: Stalin Reading Paper, Stalin on Vacation, Stalin Driving<\/i><br \/>\n<br clear=left \/>Web link of note: <a HREF='http:\/\/www.s-boss.com'>Stalin Coffee<\/a><br \/>\n(At http:\/\/www.s-boss.com)<\/p>\n<p \/>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ok, it&#8217;s actually called Boss Coffee from Suntory.
